2005-03-24: WordPerfect Indexer source code and discussion group are now linked.
 

2005-03-13: WordPerfect Indexer plugin released! It allows GDS to index all .WPD files on your hard drive. I've submitted it to Google and will link source/discussion once they post it. Until then, email me if you're having problems. My next plugin is almost ready - check back soon!


2005-03-08: OpenOffice and StarOffice Indexer v1.01 is now available and adds support for OpenDocument formats. The source code for all four plugins has also been repackaged. New plugin coming soon...


2005-03-07: I have released four plugins that use the new Google Desktop Search API. GDSPlus was rewritten using the API and is now the "Any Text File Indexer". Like before, the plugin allows you to add extensions to a list and force GDS to index them.

For the typical user, the Help File Indexer is probably the most useful plugin of the four. The OpenOffice/StarOffice and mIRC plugins should also come in handy if you use any of those applications.

Source code for all four plugins is available from above. Feel free to use them as examples for creating your own GDS plugins.
